She Thought Dog Was Full Of Bites – Then Vet Looks Closer And Calls The Police.

It’s really sad, but there are definitely people who shouldn’t be allowed to have pets or be around them at all.

A few years ago, Hayden Howard noticed something was off with her dog.

Her English Mastiff, Jackson, had been playing outside while she was inside the house. When she called him in, he looked like he was covered in bug bites.

But when she took a closer look, she discovered something much worse.

Jackson was actually covered in bullet holes.

“I was completely shocked; I didn’t know what to think,” Hayden told WXIN.

As soon as she found out Jackson had been shot, she rushed him to the vet. The vet examined Jackson and found lots of tiny bullets that had come from a BB gun.

“There was one stuck under his eyelid, one in his ear, one in his knee; they were everywhere,” Hayden said.

There were so many bullets that the vet had to shave almost all of Jackson’s fur to get them out. He took out 27 bullets in total but had to leave 20 still inside him.

On top of that, the vet discovered 20 more bullet holes in Jackson’s tiny body.

He had been shot more than 70 times.

“I’ve never seen an animal shot that many times. It’s a really terrible case, and it’s heartbreaking to witness,” said Seymour Police Department Assistant Chief Craig Hayes.

I can’t believe someone could be so cruel to a dog, especially one that has never hurt anyone.

It was thought that the shots came from a nearby yard, and the police were quickly trying to find the person responsible.

They quickly discovered bullets and a gun that were stashed away in a neighbor’s house.

Along with a BB gun and some pellets, the police also uncovered meth and drug-related items in his residence, as reported by Daily Mail.

I sincerely wish that the person who did this receives a lengthy prison term and faces the consequences of their actions.

I honestly think that once they are released, they should never be allowed near any animals again.

Even though he went through a tough time, Jackson is healing nicely, according to Hayden.

Even though some news sources call BB and pellet guns “toys” or “fake,” they are actually real guns that can hurt people.

When someone commits a crime using a BB or pellet gun, it should be treated like any other gun crime. Those who use these weapons against innocent people should face serious consequences.
