Waiter Is Pissed When A Group Of Teens Leaves Him $3.28 Tip – Doesn’t Expect To Receive This Letter Days Later.
When you work as a waiter, you get quick feedback on how well you’re doing based on the tips you receive.
In theory, if you do a great job and keep a friendly attitude, you should earn more money.
However, sometimes the tips you get have nothing to do with your service and everything to do with the customers. This can really shake your faith in people or even bring it back.
A waiter from Los Angeles, California, recently experienced this when he got a tip of just $3.28.
He expressed his frustration, saying, “It’s so annoying when I barely get tipped, and the customer is all smiles and thanking me as they leave.”
This small tip came from a group of four teenagers, and it made him wonder about how their parents raised them.
But then, ten days later, he received a letter that completely changed his perspective.
“I’ve been serving a long time,” the waiter wrote. “Nothing like this has ever happened to me or anyone.”
The waiter shared on Imgur, “These kids came back another day and left this for me at the front desk with $18 and some change.”
He also wanted to say something to the teens. “I’m not sure how you learned about tipping, but I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness. I hope you had an amazing Homecoming!”
Now, the letter from the teens has gone viral, and people everywhere are praising them and their parents.
What do you think? Did this letter make you feel better about how parents are raising their kids? Share it to inspire others and give these teens the recognition they deserve!
